Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is joining the Five-Timers Club when he hosts the season finale with musical guest Katy Perry tonight.

During his monologue, he was welcomed to the club by Alec Baldwin. Later, he announced his presidential candidacy with Tom Hanks. He also gave a heartfelt speech about what Americans need in a leader. You can watch the full monologue above.

Johnson has been on a roll during his promo run for SNL. In his GQ cover story, he shared ambitions to become president one day. He’s willing to halt his blooming acting career to be a candidate in 2020, and after giving it some thought it looks like a “real possibility.”

“I’d like to see a better leadership,” he told GQ. “I’d like to see a greater leadership. When there’s a disagreement, and you have a large group of people that you’re in a disagreement with — for example, the media — I feel like it informs me that I could be better.”

In a pair of SNL promos, Johnson jokes with Perry by using her song titles in conversation. In another, he literally has the entire cast on his back. “Hey baby,” Leslie Jones says. “Hey Leslie,” Johnson replies. “I want a cookie,” she says. “Oh, I’ll go wherever you want to go.” It's a great (and funny) exchange.

He also stars in the upcoming film, Baywatch, with Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra, Alexandra Daddario and more. It hits theaters on May 25.
