If you thought the Amityville house was done tormenting people, boy were you wrong. Amityville: The Awakening just got its first trailer, and it's the twenty-first film in the franchise. Obviously it doesn't beat a super ripped and increasingly insane Ryan Reynolds terrorizing his own family, but it still looks pretty scary.
Amityville: The Awakening stars Jennifer Jason Leigh as a single mother who unknowingly moves her family into the house where Ronald DeFeo, Jr. killed his parents and four siblings in 1974. Bella Thorne, as the eldest daughter, starts feeling the effects of the, um, intrusive house. Oh, and Red Foreman Kurtwood Smith is some sort of doctor.
The movie hits theaters January 2, 2015.
