It was previously reported that Amazon Studios would pick four new shows geared towards adult viewers. Now, not only has Amazon (finally) has confirmed the news, but they've also announced that they're also bringing in two original kids shows, and renewing the John Goodman-led political comedy, Alpha House.

The original adult slate includes: Bosch, a cop drama based on a series of novels written by Michael Connelly, The After is a drama created by Chris Carter, who also created The X-Files, Mozart in the Jungle a dramedy that gives a behind the scenes look at sex, drugs, and rock n roll classical music, and Transparent is a dark comedy (that everyone should watch immediately) about an L.A. family "with serious boundary issues." ICYMI, we reviewed the pilots of these shows when Amazon made them available for free streaming earlier this year.

The children's shows picked up are the live action show, Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street, which is aimed at kids 6-11, and the preschooler-targeted Wishenpoof! from Blue’s Clues co-creator Angela Santomero
