Having spent much of 2017 working with a variety of artists cross Europe, with the impending release of his Illuminaire mixtape on the January 12, (a collection of tracks exploring the idea of how we light up our own paths), singer/songwriter Jack Shaw looks closer to home for "Feel The Rain", collaborating with Brixton's Yung Reeks. While his music is rooted in R&B and Pop, having written for many South London artists across seven years living in Brixton, he called the collaboration "natural".

He told Complex: "It was a spur of the moment thing and I thought it would be interesting creatively to work with a hard rapper like Yung Reeks. The whole message from the track and how it came together is that people who fuck with good music aren't afraid to cross into someone else's world. Its fitting that the last song I recorded in the UK, before moving to North America is a collaboration which a lot of people wouldn’t have seen coming.  I used to be told my cross genre sound was too confusing, but I realised that was strength and identity as an artist."
