A few weeks ago, French Montana and Swae Lee headed to Kampala, Uganda to film their "Unforgettable" video. In the footage, you can see the locals bust out their best moves for the cameras:

But it doesn't end there.

Everything began back in Februrary when French went on YouTube and saw videos of children dancing—the same ones you now see in the "Unforgettable" video. He was moved by the joy the children found in dance, despite their circumstances, so he decided to go to Uganda to find them and include them in the clip.

While he was in Uganda for the shoot, French met a local advocate and (as a result) he pledged to build a maternity center in the East African nation. Furthermore, he has put together a global initiative to help raise funds for future maternity centers across the country. You can see a short video that recaps the whole story below:

So far, he has donated $100,000 to Mama Hope to build an expansion for the Suubi "Hope" Health Center in the rural village of Budando. He's also encouraging both his peers, friends, and fans to do the same.

His partnership with Mama Hope has also led to him continuing his #UnforgettableDanceChallenge in an effort to get money for ambulances, premature incubators, cribs, and a blood bank (in addition to the aforementioned construction of the Suubi "Hope" Health Center expansion). Other stars, including Drake, DJ Khaled, and Diddy, have already taken their shot at it. The tally of participants is currently at over 50,000 #UnforgettableDanceChallenges around the world and counting.
