Minneapolis-based producer Truancy (a.k.a. George Papagapitos) links up with WebsterX today for the first track off of his forthcoming, debut self-titled EP. "Queen" focuses on a woman who is a queen but wants to hide herself to everyone else—like, Lauryn Hill's "Don't be a hard rock when you really are a gem," motto. Truancy's production is chaotic, soulful and mixes in quite a bit of dub halfway through. It's interesting to hear WebsterX rap over the ethereal sounds but the two make a solid pair.
