It's A$AP week over here at Complex, if you haven't noticed. We put Rocky on the cover next to a fashion icon, spent a day with him and the A$AP Mob, and got a personal tour of Harlem. In between all of this, we also caught up with that pretty motherfucker during a shopping spree to talk music. His favorite albums, specifically.
He spoke on obvious influences like Dipset and UGK, but please believe the music preferences get weirder when we discover Rocky's surprising affinity for mid-00s rock. Oh, and you'll never guess what he thinks will happen the day he meets Bone Thugs. Here's our chronological breakdown of A$AP Rocky's 25 Favorite Albums.

Nice list there, I would have choose "Fly or Die" though but I am *bit* older than Rocky, any N.E.R.D. is classic.

30 years in harlem January 28th, 2012 at 10:55 AM
i just dont believe this nigga hes too young he must have a marketing director 30 years old living thru him and tellin him who to be this shit makes me laugh cuz i know this young nugga from harlem dont know nithing about nirvana they should ask the nigga to sing some old X shit lol its like kanye said ''A N rs who never got signed but they keep offers'' think i dont know whos behind this little stupid nigga lmao
MB January 29th, 2012 at 05:34 AM
thats a very ignorant statement, age is just a number, and their is no way a 30 yr. old Dir. of Marketing could be in on this kinda shit,... 30 yr. + is way past the peak. A$AP is on some genuine shit, and he has some good ppl behind him (in example VICE & COMPLEX) they're not picking up on some bullshit, or is that what you are insinuating?

dont underestimate I'm this guy's age and I listened to nirvana. who didn't know "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Come As You Are" back in the 90s? it was getting played all over the world and hard not to like even though you from the hood.
