It's not often people are mad at the likable Common, but American author and poet Maya Angelou is a little upset with him for the time being. The black female autobiographer, who appeared on the intro to Com's latest album The Dreamer, The Believer with a new poem, told the NY Post that his use of the n-word was "vulgar and dangerous."
As far as Common knew, he made her aware of the language contained on his project. Hopefully the two can patch this up rather quickly.
