Towson University police are on the lookout for an allegedly bonkers mom who has reportedly been confronting women to solicit dates for her son, according to The Baltimore Sun. For those of you thinking that that sounds pretty weird, but not really illegal, you would be correct. The Sun is saying that the cops are not treating it as a criminal case, they just want her to stop doing it.

In fact, an advisory has gone out to staff/faculty asking them to be on the lookout for the woman, believed to be in her 50s, who has approached women with a cell phone picture of her supposed son. One would think that would probably stand out on a college campus, but what the hell do we know. Campus cops say that this advisory is "intended to heighten awareness and inform the community of incidents that may impact their safety and security." Officials report that the woman has previously been seen at the student center and the library in her undoubtedly futile quest.

Security cam photos were snapped of the mystery mom:

If you're not a Towson student then disregard this whole thing you just read. Butttt at least, hopefully, it puts your own mother issues into perspective.
