This app just took the world of video consumption to a whole 'nother level.

A newly developed Android app has given new meaning to the phrase "long story, short." Minute is a new app and web application takes the most viral part of videos, combining them together for your viewing and helping you get straight to the point of any video. It works by drawing on crowd data to determine the most viral part of video content and then turns them into short, Vine-length clips.

According to research, the most successful online videos are >10 seconds long and have 89.61% of engagement. Currently, apps such as Vine, Instagram and Snapchat—all of which play into the culture of short, viral videos—are only 10-12 second videos.

Minute's craft video data analysis algorithm "identifies the most interesting and relevant part for each viewer. The result is a 15-25 second clip, delivered automatically to viewers." This app completely caters to our tl;dr (too long; didn't read) generation. Or, in this case, tl;dw (too long; didn't watch).

Another day, another way for our generation to become even lazier and attention-deficit.
