Written and compiled by Thibault Choay repping Classic Paris and Topsafe London.
Far from distributing crowns around and instituting any kind of hierarchy, this list is focused on those who really stood out in the crowd in the three decade long graffiti craze we've been experiencing in Paris. And, since the scene today draws its culture from the heavy bombing inherited from the '90s, we privilege the biggest vandals who wrote this history.
In alphabetical order then, here are the 25 greatest Paris graffiti writers.

graffiti photographer from the 90 in paris for me your list is not right, but no worry: real peoples know the true!! cli?? dom?? var?? what about oeno? nascio? psy? popay? and nasty before mode2!

Tareum is right. This list is Very subjective. This seems to be the list of the best firends of the author ;)

Answer to the haters: Mode2 is in, Disney was far more active than Oeno, Nascio would have been another subjective choice, picked Jon instead of Psy... And this list was checked by many before publication. But you have to actually read the texts to get the choices. It is a bit subjective of course but it gives light to those who were really up in their era. P.S If you wonder about Dom, you should just not even speak.

Where is all the internet heroes like Keno, Tomek and Supe? If you look internet you would think they are the greatest. The Internet is not the truth? Self-promotion doesn't pay off?

ok,things are simple:no list referring to paris writers can be complete if sdk crew and especialy pam and foe are not in it.they are still an inspiration to thousands.good try though!:)

Answer regarding the SDK: It has actually been a dilemma. But as the intro says, the idea was to focus on the bombers and the names that jumped at everybody's eyes. To me they were an inner scene phenomenon. They did influenced tons of writers but only the Euroland train addicts. And only Jiwee or Opak could have made it, but they were too much suburban. I know you're saying so because you're either a fan or a member (or both) !

hahaha not a member my friend nontheless!!A fan though of their style,as they've been an inspiration for me back at 2007 when I was starting my struggle,in the same way they inspired friends of mine who started writing 8-12 years before me!:) P.S:Can't deny the truth of your sayings.Tho' a characteristic scene of a ny writer talking about how difficult is to bomb trains in ny,the very moment a train writing SDK was passing before him is..woa!CHEERS!
