New York is overflowing with skateboarders this week, surrounding the arrival of the Maloof Money Cup contest. There has been all kinds of stuff going on—hosted an art show last night, KCDC is having one tonight, Vans is launching the Shut Syndicate shoe, and Transworld is premiering it’s new video tonight. Since lists are almost as fucking cool as skateboarding, and since we’ve been surrounded by tons of art-meets-skate stuff this week, check out 10 of our favorite pro skateboarders who happen to be great artists.

    I don't know about this list... I feel like some pretty amazing artists have been overlooked. WHat about Neil Blender? The Godoy Brothers? And Steve Olson? instead of Alex. Alex is a good artist but his dad is more established and has a more developed style.
