In classic Carter fashion, Beyonce and Jay Z managed to keep their star-studded twins out of the spotlight for the past five months. However, as the Carters made their way to Miami for a little family vacay, photos of Sir and Rumi surfaced and the Beyhive went off.
The series of photos show Bey, Jay, and Tina Knowles, getting in their fair share of Sir and Rumi love. Despite Jayonce's level of fame, the couple managed to keep the newest editions to the Carter clan out of the spotlight over the last few months. They did a very similar thing after having Blue, and it wasn't by accident. In 2013, when Blue was only 16 months old, Beyonce told ABC Good Morning America, "I am very protective. I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life… in the back of my mind, she's my priority."
The Beyonce hashtag on Instagram (except for top posts) was disabled, presumably because the star did not consent to having Sir and Rumi's faces grace the internet.
According to Instagram's disclaimer, this is the case because, "Recent posts from #beyonce are currently hidden because the community has reported some content that may not meet Instagram's community guidelines." The "Most Recent" section of the #beyonce tag are likely unaccessible because, as it reads on Instagram's FAQ's, "We may remove the Most Recent section of a hashtag page if people are using the hashtag to post abusive content in a highly visible place." However the "Top Posts" section of Beyonce Instagram content is still visible.
