Apple Leaked iOS 11 & it Looks Like We're Getting An 'iPhone X
What’s up guys, Frazier here or Complex. In less than 24 hours, a new Apple Keynote event will bring with it, official images, specs and a release date for the long-awaited iPhone 8. But because it’s Apple, even the 11th hour is gonna be rife with speculation. And so here we are, forced to ask the question: what the hell is an iphone X? It’s long been assumed Apple’s going to skip past a 7S and get right to the 8, but a new leak courtesy of Reddit suggests this shit’s about to be more lit than we imagined. The Golden Master build of ios11 sprung a leak late last Friday and with it, details on the 3 new iphone models that will be unveiled. Among them, the predicted iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus. Aaaaaand the mysterious but intriguingly titled, iPhone X. It’s unclear which rumored iphone 8 features will be limited to just the X model. As you’ll recall, among the new spec expectations are: no home button, a glass body, wireless charging, and facial recognition replacing touch ID. New information obtained by 9to5Mac also hints at 3D-generated emoji, or Animoji. All of this sounds cool and must-have, BUT there are two drawbacks. First, everyone seems to think the X will be the rumored $1000 model, so there’s that. ALSO, CNBC reports, via a note from MacRumors, the iPhone X will be in quote “severe short supply for awhile.” Apparently manufacturers are only able to make 10,000 a day. So even if you’re down to drop a stack, you may have to get in line. Of course, all the speculation will be put to rest in just a few short hours, so hold tight and all will be revealed. That’s the news for now but for more details on the newest Apple products, be sure to subscribe to Complex News. For Complex I’m Frazier.
