Protesters Rallied For Colin Kaepernick at NFL Headquarters
NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, despite being a former Super Bowl star and more-than-capable football player, is still without a job as a free agent. Many believe NFL teams have blackballed him from the league for his protests against the national anthem, and to a larger degree, police brutality and the oppression of people of color. Complex News’ Justin Block went to NFL headquarters on Wednesday, August 23 for a protest supporting Kaepernick. In between chants, Justin interviewed a few protesters on the ground to hear the larger conversation about Kaepernick, and what he’s come to represent.
