Video Games

Video games put the control in your hands, literally. Since the days of the SEGA Genesis, Dreamcast, and Nintendo 64, video games and their enhanced consoles have provided an infectious role-playing experience for both kids and adults all over the world. When video games first entered the masses in the 1980s, games like Pac-Man were released in the form of coin-based arcade machines. On these huge mechanical boxes, users could pay to play with gamepads and joysticks, often creating an ambiance of smashing buttons to accompany the story mode sound effects. As time passed, the gaming experience expanded to backpack-sized consoles and fully physical formats that brought multiplayer games like Dance Dance Revolution to life. But eventually, consoles like the Playstation 2, GameCube, Gameboy, and Xbox took over the mainstream. Now, systems like the Playstation 4 and Xbox One are still prevailing but gamers are also utilizing their PCs to play favored open-world games like Fornite and Minecraft. Even though older games like Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption are still on everyone’s radar, professional gamer’s like Ninja have begun livestreaming the next best gaming experiences. But before you find yourself watching someone’s live stream, Complex will have the inside scoop. So rock with us; you’ll have to use your internet to hop online anyways.
