Drake celebrated his 35th birthday on Sunday, and his close friend and collaborator Young Thug gifted him a very impressive piece of jewelry to mark the occasion.

As showcased by celebrity jewelerer Elliot Eliantte on Instagram, Thug commissioned a custom double-sided OVO charm for Drizzy’s birthday. On one side, the flashy piece features an owl, the emblem for Drake’s OVO Sound label. The other side, meanwhile, features a picture of Drake and his son, Adonis Graham.

Eliantte also shared a video of Drake reacting to the piece for the first time after he was gifted it. “Oh shit!” he can be heard in the clip. “That’s real love, thank you.”

Thug gifted him the piece just as his own album Punk finally dethroned Drake from the top spot on the Billboard 200 album chart.

The lavish piece of jewelery was gifted to Drake at his Halloween costume party in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 23. The star-studded birthday bash was held at Goya Studios in Hollywood, and was themed around Narcos. Titled “Chico Amante,” which translates to “lover boy,” the guest list included Future, Chris Brown, Jack Harlow, YG, and Drake’s dad Dennis Graham among others.

It wasn’t just jewelry that Drake was gifted at his party, though. His manager, DJ, and close friend, Future The Prince, gifted Drizzy the Rolls-Royce Phantom that he used to ride around in to “keep up appearances.”

“Back in 2007 we used to finesse this Rolls-Royce Phantom rental to convince people in the city we were destined to make it,” Drake wrote in an Instagram post of the car alongside some older footage of him inside the car itself. “I used to scrape together 5k a month somehow to keep up appearances. We whipped this to Ottawa to see [Belly] and [Cash] and to Montreal for my first show ever. I used to pick up [Niko] and roll every day or wait outside [Nebby’s] class for her. Park outside 15 Fort York while me and [40] and [Oliver El-Khatib] would be upstairs cooking what would eventually become So Far Gone.”

He advised his followers that spending money you don’t really have on “material things” isn’t always wise, but it was “extreme manifesting” for him.
