White Mountaineering, the brainchild of Yosuke Aizawa, has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, an expansive offering that reflects the specific time we now live in.

The Japanese label — which is known for uniting the performance demands of the outdoors industry with the aesthetic of the fashion world — has focused on providing a greater emphasis on craftsmanship for the seasonal range. As a result, FW22 features a range of industrial and outdoor elements which have been adapted for daily wear.

Designed for both city and mountain wear, FW22 takes its information from established outerwear from the ’80s and ’90s. Capes, collarless coats, bomber jackets, and fishing vests are dressed in the brand’s typical ensemble of neutral tones, alongside monochromatic looks and an updated version of the label’s red and black checked print. As for fabrics, the seasonal range offers functional materials embedded with unique properties, such as puffer jackets made from fire-resistant nylon, and suit jackets lined in Gore-Tex.

Once again, the capsule not only provides the wear for a new way of living but its adaptability and functionality can see it effortlessly move between outdoors and rural locations.
