Renowned for its selection of hard-wearing layered pieces, Italian menswear brand Ten C has unveiled its latest collection for Fall/Winter 2022.
Designed by Alessandro Pungetti, the technical offering draws on the idea of hybridisation, combining materials like polyester and nylon—which are typically difficult to dye—together to create Japanese and military-inspired staples.
Comprising timeless menswear shapes with tough, yet supple textiles, the upcoming collection brings a new lease of life to the brand’s signature OJJ fabric via new bonding methods, transparent resin nylon, pairing down-filled or sheepskin pieces into the same garment.
Notable pieces include down-filled jackets in OJJ and garment-dyed Nylon Tactel, as well as the Core Parka, the Pilot Jacket, Windbluse Anorak, Short Field Jacket, and Thunderstorm Parka. Elsewhere, the line in Ten C’s signature fabric—garment-dyed 12 oz OJJ—is enhanced by the Storm Parka, a remastered version of the Royal Air Force jacket, and the addition of a new British Army-inspired piece.
Another focus this season includes the items designed in piece-dyed OJJ, which are completely taped, with pockets and hood details that are pre-formed and subsequently heat bonded. Mid Layers in Nylon Tactel combined with garment-dyed OJJ include apparel ranging from outerwear to overshirts, as well as pants and accessories such as backpacks and caps.
Garment-dyed staples—as well as merino wool knitwear—round out the collection, while the brand’s ongoing collaboration with Gang Box, which comprises a redesigned and remastered Fishtail Parka, continues with prints on -shirts.
