Known for his custom-made high fashion and streetwear hybrid shoes, NYC-based designer Ceeze has returned to take on another cultural heavyweight after dropping a Tiffany-inspired Air Jordan 1.

A homage to Ye’s first collaboration with the sportswear giant, Ceeze has crafted ten pairs of Air Yeezy 2’s in a timely-toned retro colourway, aptly named “Pharaoh’’. Recreating the shoe’s iconic heel piece and bringing a full grain suede to the shoe’s toe box and quarter, each sneaker is elevated with real python in matching tones as well as some breath taking embossed elements and embroidered closures.

Paying homage to one of Nike‘s most coveted shoes from the past decade, the mystic grail was first launched by the duo as the non-athlete full collaboration. Originally released in two colourways in 2012, followed by the infamous “Red October” edition in February of 2014, the shoe was revered for its mid-foot strap along with design elements from the Nike Tech Challenge line.

Priced at $2650 USD, these customised Yeezy’s are each made to order in extremely limited quantities and are available now via the Ceeze webstore.
