Carlos Alcaraz is the latest familiar face to be enlisted for Calvin Klein’s ongoing Calvins or Nothing campaign series.

Asked by Complex about his desire to partner with the Calvin Klein label for this new campaign, the tennis star pointed to the brand’s status as “iconic” as having been influential in his decision.

“The imagery in all their campaigns is timeless and I was excited to work with such a great team,” he told Complex.

Key to that team, of course, is photographer Gray Sorrenti, who was also behind previous entries in the Calvins or Nothing series featuring Maya Hawke and others.

Asked to describe the feeling of making history as the youngest No. 1-ranked player in men’s tennis, Alcaraz linked the distinction to something every young player reaches for in their career.

“To actually achieve it is an incredible feeling,” Alcaraz, 19, said. “Something I will never forget. At the same time, however, this is just the beginning for me. Staying at the top is the real goal and I am really looking forward to getting back out on court this year and continuing to develop as a player.”

As for what’s next for Alcaraz, he tells Complex he’s not one to “take notice of the outside noise” when it comes to expectations.

“For me and my team, we just try to concentrate on continuing to improve and winning the next match,” he said. “I hope to win many big matches in the future.”

Stay tuned.
