Barbour is continuing its rollout of streetstyle collaborations by unveiling a new joint collection with Palm Angels. The partnership, which follows on from the label’s projects with andwander and NOAH, features a striking take on the classic Bedale Wax Jacket.
Drawing inspiration from the fluorescent hues of high-vis jackets and vests—conventionally worn during country pursuits—the jackets pay homage to Barbour’s age-old design style through a contemporary lens. Rendered in three striking colourways of “Hot Pink”, “Scarlet Ibis” and “Vibrant Yellow”, the iconic silhouette combines functional design codes with a distinctive and authentic language.
Made with traditional 6oz Sylkoil wax, each jacket is accompanied by a screen-printed Palm Angels logo on the reverse. Additional details feature in the form of the jacket’s signature 8-wale cord trim, 2oz nylon drip strip, and high-density cotton lining, while a special edition tartan detailing rounds things out.
You can cop the Palm Angels x Barbour collaboration from March 31 online via both brands’ webstores, at Barbour’s Carnaby Street and Covent Garden locations, and through selected stockists including FLANNELS, Farfetch and Selfridges.
