Kendrick Lamar wore Louis Vuitton by Virgil Abloh during his performance as part of the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show.

Fans were quick to spot Kendrick’s fit selection during the Dr. Dre-centered spectacle, which saw the Damn artist giving viewers Super Bowl-ified takes on his tracks “M.A.A.D City” and “Alright.”

More specifically, the look—perWomen’s Wear Daily—saw the Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated rapper wearing a black wool double-breasted suit (complete with a silk shirt and jewelry buttons) from the late Virgil Abloh’s final Louis Vuitton collection

Bringing the all-black look together, which WWD said was a custom job, were black boots and black gloves. The LV team commemorated the Tiffany jewelry-assisted moment by sharing photos of Kendrick in the Fall/Winter 2022 collection pieces to its IG Stories on Monday. Styling was handled by New York-based consultant Taylor McNeill.

LV’s Fall/Winter 2022 menswear pieces were presented with a show in Paris in January, with the French luxury house explaining that the collection served as a consolidation of the “themes and messages of the eight-season arc Virgil Abloh created for Louis Vuitton.”

Sunday’s Halftime Show included performed excerpts from a number of instantly recognizable catalog cuts from headliners Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar. Popping up as surprise guests during the proceedings were 50 Cent (who gave fans a classic video-referencing take on “In Da Club”) and Anderson .Paak, with the latter providing drums for a run-through of Em’s 8 Mile soundtrack highlight “Lose Yourself.”
