A display case containing jewels from Jacob & Co. —owned by Jacob the Jeweler—was smashed and taken of its contents early Saturday morning. The worst part about it is that it happened inside the Four Seasons Hotel in midtown Manhattan. The jewels are said to be worth around $160,000, and police are still searching for suspects. It’s pretty rare to have a brazen robbery occur in one of New York City’s swankiest hotels, but someone was bound to try it out in the middle of the night when nobody was around to watch.
