Imagine a space where artists and creatives of other disciplines can get together to form and experiment with new ideas. New Museum aims to make this dream a reality in their recently launched project, New Inc.
For this project, a work studio and incubator is currently being set up in the space next to New Museum. Studio-X, an experimental architecture think tank, and arts and tech organization Rhizome have already signed on to be a part of New Inc.
"All of these people, their common thread is that they're working with technology in an experimental way," director of New Inc, Julia Kaganskiy, told the Verge. "By placing all of these disciplines in a small space together, new ideas might emerge through the sort of creative collision of all their different practices."
