Have you ever heard of British brand Tourne de Transmission? Well, thank your lucky stars because you have now. In the sort of elevated streetwear fused with high-fashion silhouettes that is oh so on and popping right now, TDT S/S 15—abbreviated for convenience and because TDT is a dope acronym because it could stand for "The Dream Team" and it kinda sounds like "DDT" which is, like, the sickest wrestling move ever—has a look in the vein of Tim Coppens, Neil Barrett and Public School sorta mixed together. With a share of sharp patterns and on trend details like a zip-front dress shirt on white, black and stone browns, TDT is a brand that didn't get too much play this past market week. So, while we're a bit late on the newest lookbook and writing about the brand here in general, this shit deserves the the time and effort. Also, I can get behind this type of lookbook. It really looks like they took in an afternoon with a couple friends, strapped up, threw everything in a bunch of duffel bags, hoisted up a seamless backdrop on the roof of their apartment building and just went for it—very grassroots and "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" of them.
