Supreme dropped its F/W 14 lookbook today and aside from stopping, dropping, shutting down and opening up shop, it seems like the kind of collection for anyone who wants to look like they woke up in 1993. It has all the ingredients of a typical Supreme collection: some big-ass plaids, a super turbo animal print or two—homie looks like a Wiz Khalifa knockoff in that snakeskin hoodie—and some fur trim here and there. It even looks like some of the outerwear is Polo Sport-inspired, like the striped yellow firefighter's coat and bright blue/yellow puffer jacket towards the end there. Still, there's some understatement too: the camel topcoat with a dark brown collar that looks like it's based off a Crombie. But, as per usual when it comes to 'Preme, it's not about the understated, legitimately useful wardrobe pieces. No, it's about how over-the-top they can go and still get away with it. Seriously, peep the Hot Topic shirt that closes out the lookbook. I swear I saw that at a Goodwill in the middle of Iowa. It looks like a fucking D-list metal album cover in the plastic crates that go for, like, 50 cents max. You can also see the products in catalog form to get a better view of the details if you're, like, actually interested in something like, say, a neon tennis ball varsity. Supreme F/W 14 drops in stores on August 21st and online August 28th.
