Palace's Doesn't Need A Season

Palace is probably the skate brand that's making the best clothing of all the skate brands right now. And, like, it's much easier to sell clothing to a wide range of people than it is to bring skateboards to the masses. That's just basic market dynamics. I'm no economist, but that's pretty sound logic, right? Anyway, Style Dot Com got the exclusive look at the brand's newest collection, which doesn't really have a seasonal affiliation, but instead coincides with the company opening up its first ever store in London. Although, it's probably called a "shop" because skate brands have shops, not stores. Like most of Palace's shit that you've probably seen before (some which is even re-upped here, like the Blazers gear), it's really solid. The made in Scotland knits are diesel, the chinos are Italian, there's Japanese selvedge and even a collection of penny loafers that come complete with a custom Palace penny. All that "proper" menswear looks great next to Palace's signature graphics on everything from coach's jackets to tees. It's fucking clean. End of story. If you're in London on April 25th when the store opens, consider yourself extremely lucky—quantities are as limited as quality is high. No real word on when or if this drops online, but we can only hope.
