It's not often that a general release sneaker gets much hype, but when you drop a completely monochrome colorway on a made in the USA New Balance 997, you can expect people to snap that shit up. It's like when Nike did the all black and all white Huaraches. Those joints sold out with the quickness. Honestly, if you're still on the "New Balance is for old people" tip, then, while you may be right, you are fucking slipping. I'm pretty sure I've developed a minor case of plantar fasciitis in the past couple of days, so the natural support of New Balance is made for my rapidly decaying body. Maybe you're in the same boat. Either way, these are flames and it doesn't matter what you think. If you're trying to lay down the $200 for a pair of perfect sneakers, keep in mind that they do run a bit big, so size down a half size when you get them from Feature tomorrow.
