Qhen I say "from scratch," I mean it. This guy on the "How To Make Everything" YouTube channel tried to do everything in the lifecycle of a suit. He seriously picked the cotton, learned to spin it, sheared sheep, even raising silkworms and taking down a fucking deer to make every single aspect. Not surprisingly, the result didn't exactly live up to expectations. The final product fell well short on the material need and the finishing on it leaves a lot to be desired. It is, more or less, a complete piece of shit. And this took forever too! 10 fucking months! Granted, you gotta he didn't do this full-time, but that's still a ton of work. Say a prayer for dude.
