Leave to a real news program to tell us something we probably already knew. Nightline dug into how our brains act when we're on a shopping spree and why there's really no replacement for finding a great deal. The crew strapped a GoPro to a woman who loves to shop and used facial tracking software to determine if she was experiencing a high while she perused the racks of fire jawnz. The conclusion: Finding that grail for an affordable price feels just as good as sex.

Now, I can't confirm these conclusions because I am a 25-year-old virgin who has never been intimate with a woman and harbors deep-seated relationship issues. Thus, I've never done an sex. Apparently, these facial software programs are pretty accurate, using cues on the shopper's face to determine their brain activity. But they took it one step further and gave them actual brain scans too. According to the results, "The similar brain region that underlies the craving for drugs, sex or friends also appeared to be active while shopping. The more the subject wanted an item, the more the frontal cortex of the brain lit up. And if the price was right, there was even more activity."

Even though spending money activates a part of the brain that causes some stress, the positive feeling far outweighs the negative. So, guys, if you find the right price on the right item don't deprive yourself even if you're still gonna just masturbate later like you always do.
