London's Crepe City sneaker festival just went down, so fashion site Lyst hit up Olka Osadzińska—Polish illustrator, sneaker fan and who has done a couple of Reebok collaborations herself—to imagine a few off the wall fantasy sneaker collaborations: Jurassic Park x Nike Air Force One High, Lego x New Balance 530, Giuseppe Zanotti x Karl Lagerfeld's cat Choupette, Balenciaga x Jeff Koons and Saint Laurent x Studio 54 roller skates. When The Cut asked her to elaborate on the designs, she mentioned how as a child she was a Lego girl and that this hypothetical New Balance design (obviously the best one) would allow wearers to assemble their own sole from the colorful bricks. I'm assuming you guys fucked with Legos as a kid, right? I inherited three enormous tubs full of Legos from my brothers who played with them growing up and built shit with them all the time. I'm sure that now, because of all the smartphone technology and shit, all those Legos are sitting in a fucking landfill somewhere since children don't know how to build anything anymore. BUT BACK IN MY DAY WE BUILT THINGS WITH OUR BARE HANDS. Anyway, Legos are fucking dope and, personally, I would wear the shit out of a Lego collabo. End of story.
