A while back, we brought you a first look at Drôle de Monsieur and now the brand has come around and expanded its offerings to a full F/W 15 collection. The lineup of 16 pieces (10 tops, 3 jackets and 3 pairs of pants) is primarily beige and blue as designers Maxime Schwab and Dany Dos Santos mention that when brought together, the two colors make for a beautiful combination. They're not wrong. Things are truly coming together nicely for the fledgling brand. Pants are tapered sharply and tops favor drop-shoulders to create a sort of false oversized look for extra coziness done up in thick jersey cotton and wool. While the "minimalist" label is thrown around, Schwab and Dos Santos say they want to bring honesty to that through the shapes, looks and fabrics rather than just taking "very light pictures in a clean place." Superfluous frills are nowhere to be found and sharp styling cuts through any lingering noise. Drôle de Monsieur F/W 15 drops October 24th. You'd be wise to set an alarm.
