French imprint Salomon is celebrating 75 years of outdoor innovation with an exclusive capsule collection. Inspired by the brand’s iconic archive apparel, the commemorative offering features an expansive selection of technical gear detailed with texture, levels of technicality and recycled fibres.
The focal point of the lineage is the outerwear range, which includes a windbreaker made with back ventilation and water-repellent DWR coating, a stretchy mesh-like hoodie and loose-fitting bomber jacket. A limited-edition top is also added to the mix, arriving in a fast-drying polyester material, with mesh inserts and curved lines that keeps air circulating.
Salomon has also introduced a pair of celebratory EQUIPE shorts and bottoms. Boasting a Pertex® polyamide ripstop shell that helps the wind at bay, both pieces have been crafted with a polyester lining that stops the fabric from sticking to the wearer’s skin, allowing them to feel comfy and free.
