London-based sneaker label notwoways is closing out the year with its final sneaker: Mokka: Model 1. Brand owners Callum McGinley and Rockwell Princely once again draw inspiration from the vibrant streets of London, reminiscing about a sneaker mishap that became the genesis for the Mokka.

A coffee spill incident that plagued McGinley’s mind kicked off the creation of a beverage-themed iteration, steeped in coffee-like shades. The narrative of the soaked sequence begins with the packaging, arriving in thematic boxing adorned with brown liquid stains and featuring a custom metal latte art stencil.

The sneakers themselves are immersed in a palette of brown, black and cream tones, featuring supple leather on the toe boxes and medials. Suede captures the lively brew spilling across the mudguards, while black accents grace the rear portions. Complemented by extra laces and two-toned hang tags, the design sits atop wavy midsoles and textured rubber outsoles.

You can cop the ‘Mokka’ style now from the notwoways webstore.
