Launching in 2012, AAPE By A Bathing Ape®️—or AAPE as it is more commonly known—has long attracted a new generation of followers with its unexpected inspiration and spirited takes on original designs. Drawing on ‘90s aesthetics through its use of nostalgic imagery, the brand has become synonymous for loose-fitting shapes, standout camouflage and artistically branded tees, making it a front runner in the world of relaxed clothing.
Crafted from Dr. Martens’ signature smooth leather, the collaborative offering arrives in either a classic black colourway or utilitarian green. Detailed with an embossed vamp featuring AAPE’s Moonface logo and SOMEWHERE IN THE AAPE UNIVERSE text, other features include a co-branded backstrap and a collaborative heel loop which proudly display DM’s history—mirrored by a special edition two-tone label.
The new Dr. Martens x AAPE 1461 will be available from September 16 via drmartens.com and in select AAPE stores.
