Gucci and Palace Skateboards Dropping Collab Collection

The Italian fashion house and UK-based skateboard company unveiled the upcoming range on Instagram. The co-branded collection will drop next week.

Palace has added Gucci to its long list of collaborators.

After connecting with names like Calvin Klein, Starter, Mercedes AMG, and Arc’teryx, the UK skateboard brand joined forces with Gucci on an extensive co-branded range. The announcement was shared Friday on social media, along with a striking promo video directed by Max Siedentopf.

Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele and Palace’s co-founders Lev Tanju and Gareth Skewis described the collection as “a meeting-point of sensibilities, a synthesis in the street...a dichotomous melding...a clash of worlds, a crash of opposites.”

“This collection discovers not divergence but convergence,” they explained in a press release, “a mirror of approaches, obsessions and meanings that unify the two brands in a single aesthetic expression.”

The Palace x Gucci range will fall under the umbrella of the Gucci Vault, an online concept space dedicated to the label’s archive pieces, collaborative designs, digital art, and more. Pieces include embroidered leather jackets, knit bombers, checkered button-ups, all-over print jeans, sweats, handbags, and footwear. The collection also delivers a Palace x Gucci Moto Guzzi and a Palace x Gucci Supreme Conforti safe box.

You can get a closer look at the designs at the Gucci Vault website, where they will drop on Oct. 21. The collection will also be available at Gucci Vault pop-up shops in Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Osaka, and Bangkok, as well via Palace locations in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.
