April is coming, and as the saying goes, "April showers are fucking swagless." Actually, at this rate I'd take warm rain over the relentless, if sunny, brickery we're still enduring in NYC. I would be especially open to some springtime rain if I had these waterproof Sk8-Hi's made in collaboration with Montreal's own Off The Hook. I'm skeptical of the zippers on the back (as I am with all zippers on sneakers), but they're matte black so I'm willing to give them a pass if they can live up to the waterproof hype. Like, if I put these on, I want to be confident that I can get so hammered that I forget I even have feet and step in mad puddles on the way home. The Vans x Off The Hook Sk8-Hi drops March 22.
