It's a funny time between summer and fall. While many slate it as the choicest time for fashion, what with the collections shown last March finally reaching shelves, it is often an awkward time for actually assembling an alphet. It's generally too warm for any kind of actual autumn weather clothing, but by the time late-August/September rolls around, you're going to want to shift out the shorts and start bringing back pants into the rotation (something that's always a good idea). Kith has its solution to dressing yourself this time of year, with the release of the label's Summer-Weight Washed Denim collection.

The drop focuses on Kith's signature Mercer Pant, offering three different options of the brand's Denim Mercer II model—Leopard, Palm Tree, and Paisley. The Leopard print is the darkest option, with a deep indigo hue and an all-over leopard print that is subdued at first glance. The Palm Tree option boasts an all-over print and a wash tone that inspires imagery of worn, faded, stonewashed denim. The Paisley version keeps the same stonewashed, retro color that is found in the Palm Tree, but is patterned with a top-to-bottom paisley in white. All the pants are built from a 9 ounce summer-weight cotton-poly washed indigo denim.

The collection isn't exclusively about the Mercer II pant, with the collection including a single shirt, the newly minted Chambers Button Up. The long sleeve version of the shirt mirrors the Leopard model Mercer II, featuring the same indigo color and all-over leopard print. The short sleeve is available in Palm Tree, and matches that model's light wash and all-over palm print.

The collection drops today at Kith's Manhattan and Brooklyn outposts, along with the brand's webshop so there's little reason to not get in on the action.
