Toilet Seat Redefines Where We Keep Our Toilet Paper
We've been doing it all wrong.

In order to give toilet paper a better home, designer Henry Franks has created the Bog Standard toilet seat, which comes with a TP roll holder attached to the front of the seat. The oak toilet seat challenges the convention of storing toilet paper rolls. Franks saw many benefits to installing TP on the seat, where it would rest comfortably between our legs and also act as a handle for lifting up the seat. While we do not expect a revolutionary change to sweep across toilets around the world anytime soon, the design makes us re-think our everyday habits.
The designer explains the motivation behind his work: "Making people talk about an event by designing an experience using a humorous product hopefully brings awareness of how mundane or everyday products could be enhanced, and if nothing else hopefully brings a smile to the user."
