From destitute to full of life.

Abandoned urban spaces have a huge potential to be transformed into places of activity and inspiration. Moscow-based architects Atrium Studio and Milan-based design group Esterni have developed an urban intervention project to salvage the space under an abandoned bridge in Kosice, Slovakia. The team plans to create a public entertainment space for all to enjoy.
The temporary outdoor installation titled "Pod-Mostom" is based around a theater-like design with bench seats that face a wooden construction. The space includes a performance stage, projection screen, cafe area, and skate ramp, ready to accommodate a whole range of activities. By simply reimagining a location's purpose, the project extends an invitation to anyone who wishes to take advantage of a new public space.
