Comedian David Bussell Leaves Behind Quirky Messages in Hotel Rooms
The best kind of vandalism.

With standardized decor and furnishings, some hotel rooms are just plain boring. Comedian David Busselltweaks this bland atmosphere by writing hidden messages throughout hotel rooms for following guests to discover. Since Bussell began this habit of vandalism in 2006, he has photographed every one of his quirky messages, which he shares on his blog Hotel Graffiti. His notes warn visitors of fantastical situations, like being chased by a martial artist. Many of his memos hilariously begin, "If you're reading this it's already too late."
Most of the time, Bussell looks for concealed places to add his work, like underneath toilet lids, inside drawers, and behind paintings. Although people may never even find his messages, Bussell continues to leave entertaining words all around the world.
