Described as an exploration into "the secret sporting life of our friends the fruits and vegetables" on his website, Paris-based photographer Benoit Jammes' fantastical new series turns produce into professional skaters.
Aptly titled Skitchen, a blend of the words "skate" and "kitchen," the work imagines fruits and vegetables kick-flipping, grinding, and ollieing in the skatepark of a kitchen. Jammes adds miniature sets of wheels to each piece of food and poses them in dynamic and sometimes dangerous situations. The whimsical images feature bad-ass bananas, tragic tomatoes, and daring eggs, among other produce, in dope actions shots mid-trick.
