There's not much to say about this incredibly disturbing video besides that we love it. What you’re seeing is a “bleeding painting,” created by the artist Alexander Barton using black liquid, linen, and mixed media. Titled A Bleeding Picture, it was created specifically for the visual component of “To Attempt Openness,” the song paired here, by the metal band The Body. It’s a cut from their new album, Christs, Redeemers, which is out now on Thrill Jockey Records.
