Much to the Internet's Surprise, That Really Is Taylor Swift on the Cover of 'Vogue'
Twitter thinks that the pop star looks "unrecognizable."

Taylor Swift was just unveiled as Vogue's May cover star. It's her third cover overall and her second solo — she last fronted the publication with model Karlie Kloss — a pretty big accomplishment. However, the only thing anyone on Twitter's asking is where is the real Swift, and what has Vogue done with her?
The singer stars on the cover like you've never seen her before: short, shaggy, bleached blonde hair and a Saint Laurent mini dress. The dress is no coincidence as the whole shoot is meant to be an ode to the label's recently departed creative director Hedi Slimane. This vision of Swift is one that is unrecognizable to fans, though.
Swift's May cover also coincides with the upcoming Met Gala, which the singer is co-chairing. And as Swift gets more involved in the fashion world, she says the next step might be a fashion line. "Theoretically, yes,” she tells Vogue when asked starting her own line. “But I would want it to be something that was relatable and accessible and everyday. I don’t see it being couture. I would want it to be reflective of my style. And a lot of things I wear are not highly expensive.”
