Glamourous girl fights, bear skin rugs, and a lot of hair flipping, the things socialite sleepovers—and any fashion campagn worth its weight—are made of. The Lanvin campaign is more editorial than it is advertising, and the photography enhances its subject matter. Meisel's vintage look with this shoot punctuates the campaign's distinctive styling.

Alexander

Wang is awesome, and the line's simple, graphic approach to this season's

campaign is strong. Daniel Jackson shot Diplo in clean black and white to accentuate the feel. Alexander Wang featuring Diplo. Great.

Opening Ceremony

This look book/campaign is traditional Terry Richardson. White background,

harsh bright lighting, and a playful approach to modeling. None of the images in

this campaign are formal or stuffy—each has its own personality and because of

that, the models become relatable and the clothes wearable. Not Terry's best, but noteworthy.

Chanel

American Apparel didn't invent the wet t-shirt concept, but they did reinforce the idea that it sells clothes. Mr. Lagerfeld took it fancy, and his dynamic understanding of watter and girls proves the idea can sell anything. Pretty Girls + High Fashion + Kiddie Pool = Good.

Juergen Teller has been shooting the Marc ads since just under forever, and his signature style shines through no matter what the models are wearing. The ’70s overtones and over-processed, warm brights make this campaign pop. It's summer here.

The camera angles Mert & Marcus chose for this campaign are dynamic, giving the ads a fun-house mirror feel. The simple styling and contrast gained through black and white photography further enhances the effect.

Missoni

This guy gets around. Teller is known for the Marc Jacobs campaigns, but often shoots for other brands. For this campaign, Juergen Teller shot friends and family as models, athough when its Missoni, it's quite the crew of friends. Leighton Meester riding a child's toy horse, caught via point and shoot. Nice one.

Prada

Prada is also going bold/bright this season. The campaign was shot against a black/white background, which allows the color of the clothes to speak for themselves. It's a whole 1920s Havana flapper meets ’80s NY tribal. It all comes together so nice.
