Following the success of its Print Workshop in San Francisco and its Photo Workshop in New York City, Levi's is extending its franchise to Los Angeles with the Levi's Film Workshop. The Film Workshop will exist at MoCA in L.A. as part of the partnership between Levi's and the museum's featured exhibition, Art in the Streets.
Just like the New York Photo Workshop, this version of the Levi's franchise will provide of tools and resources for filmmakers including access to computer and editing tools, equipment rental, a film library, and help with collaboration opportunities. If you have an idea, get to MoCA and pitch these guys, it's an amazing opportunity. If you're not a filmmaker, but like films, the Levi's Film Workshop will also work as an event space for flim screenings and educational workshops, including a screening of the "Best of Girl Skateboards" retrospective. All signs are pointing towards getting yourself to Art in the Streets, so just get to L.A. already.
