Chicago-based artist Hebru Brantley is showing his hometown some major love right now with a special exhibition presented by Hennessy VS at the Chicago Cultural Center's Sidney R. Yates Gallery. Entitled "Parade Day Rain," the exhibition features new murals, paintings, and sculptures that (according to the gallery) explore "optimism and pessimism and their place in the journey from Light to Dark through a narrative of his flyboys and girls."

If you're unfamiliar with Brantley's artistic style, then you really should catch up. Celebrities including Carmelo Anthony, Nicki Minaj, and Jay Z and Beyoncé own works by the talented artist, and Swizz Beatz has collaborated on a painting with him for VH1 + SCOPE. Check out the images above taken by fans that have seen the show already, and if you're in the area, check if out for yourself before it ends on September 23.
