Kim Kardashian says the artist formerly known as Kanye West compared her self-styled 2021 Innovator Awards look to Marge Simpson.

In the latest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, as first spotted by TMZ, Kim is seen speaking with Kourtney Kardashian about the then-current status of her and Ye’s dealings.

“I got to a point where I was just like, I would ask him for advice for everything down to what I wear,” Kim said. “Even now I’m having, like, panic attacks, like, ‘What do I wear?’”

Kim then noted Ye’s involvement in her style selections for last year’s SNL hosting gig, which was followed by an appearance at WSJ. Magazine’s aforementioned Innovator Awards in November.

“And finally, like, in New York, I will say, he styled me all for SNL. Then for the Wall Street Journal magazine, I won the Innovator Award for SKIMS,” Kim said. “And I was like, ‘How do I wear something that hasn’t been pre-vetted first?’”

According to Kim, Ye later rang her up about her styling decision for the ceremony.

“Then he called me afterwards. He told me my career’s over and then he showed me a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar,” Kim said, laughing.

Kim is also seen comparing her public comments about the split via the reality series medium to Ye doing the same via his music, arguing it’s unfair that “one is respected and one’s not.”

Ye, meanwhile, commemorated Mother’s Day this past weekend with the release of a new video for the Donda deluxe track “Life of the Party.” Featured throughout are photos and other images from Ye’s childhood, which were creatively edited to include pieces from Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga.
