After much anticipation, the Bay Area is now home to Supreme

On Thursday, the streetwear brand officially opened the doors to its San San Francisco store located at located at 1015 Market St. The shop marks Supreme's fourth U.S. location and 12th around the world, following stores in NYC, Los Angeles, Paris, and Japan.

WWD reports the San Francisco ground floor space is 4,500 square feet, while the mezzanine is about 1,000 to 1,500 square feet. Key features include benches that resemble the blocks that once lined Market Street as well as the ramp sculpture designed by artist/skater Mark "Gonz" Gonzales.

It was previously reported that former pro-skater Reese Forbes will manage the San Francisco store.

"So the last 10 months I've been training to help manage the store in San Francisco, the Supreme store, so I've flown around and worked at the stores, so that's what I've been doing," he said during a July interview with The Nine Club, before explaining how he landed the gig. "... We kinda reached out to each other, so it was just, we called each other. We both reached out and it just happened. I've been observing and I've been a big fan for a long time from a distance."
